Olive Garden and John Moon serve Pasadena Police Officers on Labor Day.

Noel Chau and his crew from Olive Garden in Pasadena, along with John Moon, served lunch to our Finest in Blue on Labor Day, Monday, September 5, 2016.  This is just Olive Garden’s and Mr. Moon’s way of saying “Thank You” to our Pasadena Police Men and Women for all they do for us!

Just wanted to give special recognition to Pasadena Police Officer David Garza.  Officer Garza exemplifies Community Policing at its finest!  In the area he serves, he saw a need of some children in PISD needing school backpacks and supplies.  With support of others, his distribution of backpacks grew from 30 to 130!  Also, 4 bicycles were donated and given to some lucky winners.  I was glad to be part of his efforts.  Also, thanks to the Councilmembers that donated backpacks which were Ornaldo Ybarra, Sammy Casados and Darrell Morrison.  The presentation was at the Pasadena Police Station Department Community Room on Saturday afternoon, August 20th.  We have a great Police Department….be sure to tell them thanks!
