Hope you had a great July 4th weekend celebration!

We hope you and your family had a great July 4th holiday.  Sheressa and I had fun spending time with our family,  eating plenty of barbeque, home-made ice cream, watching fireworks and sharing stories of the children growing up.

I also wanted to take this time to let you know I will be running for Mayor.  The election is May 2017 so it’s still early; there will be more information to come.  I would be honored to serve you and our City.   Additional information describing my background is presented on this page.  I’d love to hear from you; please feel free to send me a note or give me a call at 713-448-9944.

Hope you had fun celebrating with your family and friends!

Welcome Neighbors!

I grew up in Pasadena, graduating from Sam Rayburn High.

I then attended San Jacinto College for my first two years, received my Bachelors from SMU and my Master’s from the University of Houston Clear Lake.

I have my CPA license, and have been in banking and investments for more than 30 years.

At Moody Bank as CFO, I prepared budgets during our growth from $300 million to almost a billion dollars in assets, and the number of branches increased from four to thirty-one. I have supervised several hundred employees. I managed the $600 million bond portfolio for the bank as well. I am currently a licensed Texas Realtor and agent at Qualified Properties on Vista Rd.

As Board of Trustee for San Jacinto College (thank you for electing, and re-electing me), it has been my pleasure to be part of two bond issues totaling $720 million to build and expand the education options for the three campuses and 30,000 students who are on their way to becoming taxpayers and productive members of our community. Thank you for your trust and confidence by approving both of these bond issues. It is immensely rewarding to shake hands with our graduating students and see sparkle in their eyes as they plan for the future.

I have been involved in the Pasadena Chamber, Rodeo, Heart Association, Neighborhood Center, Rotary and many other Community organizations during the years as committee member, officer, and or board member.

I would like to hear your thoughts on how we can make our community even better than it already is!
